I love food. Especially desserts!! I get that from my dad, he is the same way. But I also got something else from my dad that I don't love so much, genetically high cholesterol. When I found out from the blood test results, I was determined to lower it on my own, without the help of any medication. In my first 6 months of lifestyle changes I was able to lower my total cholesterol levels by 55 points. I was very happy with that and am in the process of continuing to lower it to healthy levels by making better food choices and exercising more.
I started this blog because I have really enjoyed playing with different recipes and making sure they have 0 cholesterol  and little to no saturated fats while still tasting delicious. I wanted to share my experiences with others who are going through the same things because it can be really hard at times when your friends and family are able to eat whatever and you can't without fear of ruining your hard work! I hope these tips and recipes can help, and keep coming back because I will be adding new ones as I go along on my low cholesterol journey :)
